A message to ITALY
Italy has failed to support and uplift its young people for a long time.
I personally experienced this and tried my best to stay and serve my country, but my dignity as a human being was stripped away.
My dreams, studies, and values were disregarded, and I felt insignificant and worthless every day.
I was only valued when I was useful to a wealthy family, and they often overlooked the things that brought me happiness.
However, I managed to break free from this cycle and start anew, even though I don't possess the qualities that others may have.
I wanted to work towards bridging the generation gap and believed in politicians who spoke about generations.
I learned about diachronic and synchronic concepts and even studied The Benvenuti Family to understand the experiences of different generations.
Unfortunately, I realized that these politicians were empty promises.
They only contributed to the decline of Italian culture by simply translating English words instead of truly enhancing the language and promoting effective communication.
My hope was shattered when a 16-year-old girl took her own life, followed by a 22-year-old boy.
Italians, please take note of this and take action. Not everyone can be as strong as Alessia, who chose to leave the country.
There are people who lose their lives because of the lack of support.
In my journey at the age of 36 and a half (soon to be 37), I made a life-changing decision to move to a new country.
It was a turning point where I finally found a job that allowed me to work with dignity.
Moreover, I was incredibly blessed to experience the joy of motherhood not once, but twice.
Alongside these milestones, I also had the opportunity to publish a book filled with enchanting fairy tales.
These tales were inspired by various cultures and narrated by characters from my own "NEW" family.
Interestingly, these characters transform into animals based on the Chinese horoscope assigned to each of us.
This book is not just a collection of stories; it is a gateway to learning.
Within its pages, you can discover the Igbo language's name for the rainbow and its vibrant colors.
Additionally, it provides a chance to learn how to greet someone with 'good morning,' bid them 'good night,' or express gratitude in different European and African languages.
This book also highlights the incredible opportunity for young people to connect with peers from diverse backgrounds, fostering innovation and originality through non-formal methods.
It is beautifully illustrated by a talented young woman who, now a wife and mother, found belief in her artistic abilities.
