25 JUNE 2024 - The most amazing place you have ever been in your life is where you are now -

"On a conscious or unconscious level, those born on 25 June ask others to have faith in them, since what they say is often part of an unreal monmdo that is difficult for those with less imaginative abilities to understand." This sentence, read in Personology's book - The Secret Language of Birth Dates - has always particularly stuck in my mind. Until now, I believed everyone who did love bombing for personal gain, in professional and private life. From this day on I intend to start having faith in myself, in my abilities, and build what for the moment is only in my head. Out for now is only the book illustrated by CinnaMom, both in English and Italian, but the others will be out soon (we are three books behind, but we are in OUR time!). The cosmopolitan family project is not just a publishing project. It will involve the whole community, and by following this blog on a daily basis you will better understand what it is all about! For now, I am going to enjoy the day with my People, the ones I gave birth to, since for a long time, when I lived in Italy, this day was only remembered by my father and, sometimes, my mother. I have learnt to let go and live the present moment with gratitude, for what I have and for what I don't have (never had).
Happy birthday on this day to Vecchioni, George Michael, Silvio Pellico, Aldo Serena! And also to the Wandering Writer!

The good gnomes of Cologne
People lived very well in Cologne
a long, long time ago,
we spent the day together
in peace and quiet.
The dwarves then at night
arrived in droves:
those who cut, those who fixed,
who pulled or turned,
who baked and kneaded,
who cleaned, who swept,
and the rooster at the first crowing
they had done it all.
The carpenters yawned,
While the workers were stretching;
They turned themselves over blissfully
Without a thought, never worried:
They would surely come
the good gnomes would come, and with alacrity
they would cut and saw,
with the measured metre,
with the hammer then beaten,
until everything had come
according to their intentions:
how wonderful, those good dwarfs!
