Cristina's long journey

Cristina stands in front of the aremadium mirror and is fantasising. Her mum has gone out: a good opportunity to browse through her stuff! So many dresses, and what wonderful hats, and all those shiny, colourful shoes! After careful consideration Cristina chooses a richly embroidered petticoat and a wide-brimmed straw hat decorated with flowers. Cristina looks at herself in the mirror, proud of her new dress, and with a jaunty air throws a cape over her shoulder. Where's Mama's lipstick? A real lady always wears lipstick! Eventually she uncovers her make-up bag and uses everything she can find. Satisfied she struts in front of the mirror: she dreams. Now she is setting off on a long journey where everyone will admire her for her refined elegance. But just then Cristina wakes up to the sound of the doorbell: her mum is already back! "But Cristina, that dress is too long for you!" The big trip has been postponed.
