HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today is Chicca's birthday. She longed for a little white mouse and her wish came true. She is overjoyed! Mummy will prepare a nice snack, with cakes, pastries and a jug of steaming chocolate: in the afternoon Susi, Gianna, Marco and Paolo will come. Mummy has also prepared a surprise!

The friends have arrived. The little mouse has meanwhile disappeared. Mum puts an object wrapped in a woollen cloth in a box and the children have to guess what it is with a few questions. They stick their little hand in the box, touch the object, ask: 'Is it plastic? Is it used every day? Can it break?" The children nag their mother with constant questions. Their little faces are stretched out towards her. At one point Susi lets out a scream. "The mysterious object is moving, look, it's a ghost!" Mum, also astonished, unwinds the secret object: the old cheese grater appears, and in the middle, the little mouse, who, greedy like all his kind, had slipped into the grater unbeknownst to everyone, attracted by the nice smell. This time the mysterious object had surprised everyone!
