Gianni is not hungry

"Come on, Gianni: it's lunchtime!" his mother calls. But Gianni is not hungry. Even the delicacies his mother has prepared for him fail to whet his appetite. In the evening, when the family is gathered for dinner, the father has a proposal to make to Gianni: 'How would you like to spend a few days with your friend Roberto? Grandma has fallen ill and Mum should visit her to take better care of her." "Yay," replies Gianni happily: it's always fun to go to Roberto's, there are so many children there! The next day his mother takes him to his little friend who is playing in the garden with his brothers and sisters. Gianni is so eager to participate in the game that he almost forgets to say hello to his mother. Between shouts and shouts the hours pass. Suddenly a voice: it is Roberto's mother calling everyone to the table. The hubbub stops as if by magic and the children pour cheerfully and loudly into the house. Gianni stays behind, but after a few minutes he follows the gang. At the table, amid jokes and laughter, Gianni eats everything on his plate.
